How to post your site to your account:

Reminder:   All Hosting on our Corporate Server requires this link on home page:
Microsoft® FrontPage® Hosting Services Provided by Newsite Internet Services

Special Notes:
You may receive an error message from your FrontPage Explore suggesting that the server needs to be manually restarted. This is inherent to FrontPage Server Extensions on Unix systems and Newsite has developed a work around for this problem. Simply disregard this error message by clicking the [ ok ] button.

Copying Webs to your account on Newsite's Corporate Web Server:

  1. Open your web locally
  2. In FP Explorer, click on "File Pull Down Menu" then "Publish Web"
  3. The Destination web server name should be newsite.com
  4. The Destination web name should be: your customer I.D at newsite.com
  5. You should be prompted for a FrontPage username/password.

If your web is large (or you are access your site with less than a 28.8 kbps modem) and there is a great deal of traffic on the Internet, you may be timing out before the web is completely copied. If the above does not work for you, you can always open the web remotely (via FP Explorer) and Import the pages from the FP Explorer (File ... Import ...). Try to import one page at first to see if you can get it through cleanly. If that works, you can try importing several at a time until your site is copied.

Please never delete any MS FP related file or directory unless consulting with us.
